The first thing I knitted was a scarf for my boyfriend. I prefer long scarfs, so it came out to be nearly as long as me. I made this while I was learning to knit so the first bits are kinda loose with a few mistakes, but as it keeps going it gets tighter and other knits can be found. I even made a pattern that had me use a third knitting tool. I finished the scarf a few months after I started the project, but Charles seems to really like it :)
Last year while living in Japan, I started to really enjoying origami. I made over 700 cranes, but stopped then after the death of my godfather.. I also made a sushi bento for Charles in Japan, with salmon sushi, tuna sushi, shrimp sushi, and unagi roll and a salmon roll. I decorated it with a crab, lotus flower ginger and a blob of paper wasabi. Since then I've continued doing a little origami here and there, usually using it to make my wrapping for gifts more elegant.
Those are the two things I'd like to blog about, but as time goes on, if I make other things those will be added to this blog too. In the future, I'll post pictures to show the development of my projects and more specific information on how it was made.
